Press release
From Smallest to Largest in the World...
Known for producing the world’s smallest mobile printer concept capable of turning out full-size documents, PrintDreams plans to demonstrate the scope and scale of its leading-edge RMPT™ print technology and become a record-breaker at the same time.
KISTA, Sweden; January 14, 2008 - -
Because its RMPT (Random Movement Print Technology) printers are designed to move freely across any substrate, there’s no theoretical limit to how big an RMPT print could be. With enough memory and a print head to suit, industry insiders have long speculated that the sky’s the limit.
Inspired by this thought, PrintDreams has spent several years researching and experimenting with RMPT, exploring the possibilities when applied to a Very Large Format Printing solution.
This spring, on a site and on a date yet to be announced, PrintDreams will unveil the world’s largest printed image ever. Generating the same colourful, high resolution impact produced by modern offset printers and today’s HD monitors, PrintDreams’ RMPT technology will create an image of eye-popping clarity that will be visible from some extraordinary distances far away!
The process will be as eco-friendly as that used in all other RMPT products, with the same minimal impact on the environment.
This milestone in print development will be achieved in partnership with one selected global brand as a commercial venture.
