PrintDreams behind new hot printer accessory
New accessory increases the usability options of the Xyron® Design Runner™, a first-of-its-kind handheld printer featuring PrintDreams RMPT™ Lite technology.
KISTA, Sweden; May 8, 2007 - - The new accessory, Design Disc Maker™, which allows users to input personal phrases and combine with image designs, was recently launched by Xyron at major Arts & Crafts retailers across the U.S. and at the TV channel network, HSN, where it rapidly became a customer pick.
Prior to the release of the Design Disc Maker, users found themselves limited to the content and phrases that were factory-installed in the Design Disc range. However, now with the Design Disc Maker accessory, users are able to skip over the time-consuming process of printing characters one by one and instead customize and print phrases directly onto surfaces.
The Design Disc Maker, among other multiple applications, allows users to create up to four lines of text. This proves to be an ideal tool for users when printing addresses directly onto envelops.
Users can choose from the built-in font or any Design Runner Font Disc available to create messages between 40 and 160 characters of length, depending on the character size chosen. The message can then be saved onto a blank Disc –included in the package- that can be erased and re-used.
PrintDreams has been fully engaged in the realization of this product from the birth of the idea and conceptualization, through the hardware design architecture and the firmware development.
